I had the pleasure of finding a most delightful (and odd) little used bookshop today. Literally in the middle of nowhere. I should have taken pictures to prove how friggin’ remote and hidden away this place was.
But, perhaps, for good reason! Bought six books in damn good condition for a little under $8 US dollars.
I’m not even kidding here.
Here’s the list and the photo evidence XD:
- Interview With A Vampire by Anne Rice
- Jhereg by Steven Brust
- The Seventh Gate by Margaret Weis & Tracy Hickman
- Mossflower by Brian Jacques
- Wizard’s First Rule by Terry Goodkind
- The Storyteller’s Start-Up Book by Margaret Read MacDonald
Adding these to last week’s impromptu buys (which I forget to blog about, sorry guys!!):
- Aesop’s Fables
- Deep Blue by Jennifer Donnelly
and bringing my book haul total to 8, I can safely say that old adage, “So many books, so little time!” is the truest expression for my current predicament.
Of course, as my luck would have it, I get all these lovely books with absolutely NO time to read them. This weekend I’m going to be sooo busy! (Damn you, interfering real life!!! *shake fists at*)
I’ll have to find time during the week.
Maybe.
Or just take off a day at wor–*COUGH* Yeah, no, you didn’t read that at all. 8D Keep it movin’ folks! Nothing to see here. XD
Oh my, that Aesops Fables cover is a thing of beauty! I love those tales so much, my Dad read them to me every night…..
