Discussion time: Should authors publish hetero and non-hetero material under the same name?

I found this discussion on another blog recently and I wanted to get my followers opinions on the same matter.

Do you think hetero and non-hetero material should be published under different pennames?

I have my own thoughts, but I’d really like to hear yours. Let me know what you think in the comments, okay?

Should they- no, I think everyone has a right to do whatever they want to. I was just thinking here about J.K Rowling and other authors when they changed the genre, they used penname because it was easier for them.

I agree with that! I also think its easier for their followers and readers to know about their new published works if they just published it under the same name!

Do you think the author is using their previous success to help promote their new endeavors?

Very true. I think many authors do use their previous success haha and they have full right to do that if they became successful in first place
