Bookbinding level: Hannibal

I’ve been meaning to share this here because… well… I like freaky shit, and this is about as freaky as it gets. (Until I find something worse. Which I most certainly will.)

Books Made From Human Flesh

You might want to read this article.

So apparently some peeps at Harvard were checking things out and lo and behold came across some odd titles (Yes, you read right. MORE THAN ONE OF THESE F*CKERS.) On top of that, it would appear making books from human flesh was a relatively common practice back in the 17th century or so. Which means there could still be more of them out there.

Do YOU have any human bound books in your collection, hmmm maybe? *gives that knowing eye and creepy Hannibal smile* You know I certainly do—*COUGHS*

Moving right along!

I think we can all agree that those rare books can stay right where they are. It’d give too many people too many ideas and we might end up with more 21st century additions to this morbid (and stunningly grotesque) collection.

Admiring the time and effort you put into your website and detailed information you offer.
It’s nice to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same old rehashed information. Fantastic read!
